Global Logistics Conference
October 20, 2011, Darton College held its first annual Global Logistics Conference.
The Conference sought to provide networking opportunities in addition to sessions on rail, trucking, shipping, inland ports, and the ever-increasingly important elements of technology and security involved in Logistics. Most important, the conference emphasized the global aspect of Logistics. The Conference sought to answer the question, how can individual businesses benefit from the Inland Port of Cordele as it serves as a major extension and access point to the Port of Savannah.
